A portrait of a life in static hold, and the eruption of memory that overflows into daily life. Animation tests for film-in-progress, in which a cat-eared protagonist navigates the everyday of retail jobs, under-requited romance and Al Anon meetings across the surreal landscapes of Los Angeles, Uruguay, and her own dreamspace. “The Forge of the Heart” will fuse different experimental techniques, combining cut out, puppet, stop motion, and direct-on-film animation with drawing to interweave the main character’s waking and dreaming reality with her shifts in geographic location.
A one-minute interpretation of the Inuit creation goddess myth. (Based on a crazy story!)
My first movie, featuring Cartoon Dina on an enchanted adventure through San Francisco's Chinatown.
